World Oceans Day Beach Clean Up

Join Coronado Brewing Company in Preserving the Beauty of La Jolla Shores: Beach Clean-Up Event in Honor of World Oceans Day

Coronado Brewing Company strives to brew exceptional craft beer and positively impact our community and the environment. We are excited to announce our upcoming beach clean-up event at La Jolla Shores, collaborating with Coast Keeper San Diego. This is a fantastic opportunity for all local craft beer lovers who share our passion for the beach to come together and make a difference. Join us on Saturday, June 10th, starting at 9 am, as we unite for a day of fun, community, and environmental stewardship! Look for the blue CBC-branded pop-up tent near the main lifeguard tower at La Jolla Shores.

Why Beach Clean-Up Matters

The pristine beauty of our coastal areas is a precious resource that deserves our utmost care and protection. Unfortunately, pollution and litter pose a threat to marine life and the overall health of our oceans. By participating in this beach clean-up, you will actively contribute to preserving the natural beauty of La Jolla Shores and positively impacting the environment!

Collaboration with Coast Keeper San Diego for World Oceans Day

To further amplify our efforts, we have partnered with Coast Keeper San Diego, a local organization dedicated to safeguarding our coasts and preserving the health of our oceans. With their expertise and guidance, we aim to make this beach clean-up event a resounding success.

Participation in the beach clean-up event is open to everyone who shares our love for craft beer and the beach. Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Spread the Word: Share this event with your friends, family, and fellow craft beer enthusiasts. Encourage them to join us in this important cause and make a difference together.
  2. Dress Appropriately: Remember to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for beach clean-up activities. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated!
  3. Have Fun: While the primary purpose of the event is to clean up the beach, it’s also an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, make new friends, and enjoy a day at the beautiful La Jolla Shores.
  4. Post-clean-up Cheers: If you have the time, head over with team CBC to say cheers to a great beach clean-up in honor of World Oceans Day. Not only will Salty Crew Blonde Ale be on special at Shore Rider La Jolla, but Dough Momma’s will also be offering pizza by the slice that can be paired with your favorite brew. Check out our list of special events happening after the beach is clean!

Celebrating World Oceans Day

The Coronado Brewing Company family is proud to celebrate World Oceans Day, which falls on June 8th every year. World Oceans Day is an international observance that raises awareness about our oceans’ vital role in sustaining life on Earth. It serves as a reminder of our oceans’ significant challenges, including pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction, and climate change. It is a call to action for individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and work towards sustainable solutions that ensure the health and well-being of our oceans. Together, we can make a difference and create a more sustainable future for our planet! We hope to see you on Saturday, June 10th at our La Jolla Shores Beach Clean-up in honor of World Oceans Day!
