Our 2020 ART SERIES feature photography submitted by our Instagram fans.  The first winner of our contest is Derek Delacroix, a San Diego-based photographer who shoots black and white palm trees to support environmentalism.  Delacroix’s Instagram handle (@tropicaldarkroom). was the inspiration for the beer’s name — Tropical Darkroom Sour IPA.

Tropical Darkroom is a kettle sour IPA brewed and dry-hopped with fruit-forward Sabro and Mosaic, for a bright, tropical hop profile.  The brewers then and fresh kiwi purée to counterbalance the clean sour notes of the beer, for a refreshing tart and bitter with lingering kiwi sweetness.

Tropical Darkroom is the first in a series of three beers in the 2020 Art Series.  We’re proud to be supporting emerging artists whose roots perfectly align with our stay coastal lifestyle.
