Job Summary:
The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in managing and coordinating multiple marketing functions, including event coordination, project management, social media, and digital content creation. This role ensures that all marketing initiatives are executed smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Event & Donation Coordination:
- Plan and manage logistics for local and brewery-hosted events (e.g., anniversary parties, movie premieres, Oktoberfest).
- Assist in onsite coordination at events to ensure seamless execution.
- Handle administrative tasks, including donation coordination, marketing material shipments, beer shipments, and point-of-sale management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, etc.) to ensure proper setup and execution of events.
- Manage donation pickups and required legal paperwork.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Capture and create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content for social media, email campaigns, website, press releases, and blogs.
- Actively engage with the community by responding to comments and messages.
- Help increase engagement through trending social media features (e.g., IG Stories, Reels, interactive posts).
- Write and edit engaging content to align with brand voice and marketing goals.
Email Marketing & Communications:
- Manage and create weekly consumer email campaigns using Constant Contact.
- Ensure timely approvals and scheduling for weekly Thursday morning sends.
Marketing Execution & Retail Support:
- Assist in the execution of marketing strategies for product launches and retail promotions.
- Ensure internal retail teams have the necessary tools and assets to effectively promote new products and campaigns.
Samples, Competitions, Media, other :
- Support the Director of Marketing and brewing team with competition entries, registrations, and sample shipments for local and national beer competitions.
- Coordinate and ship product samples to media influencers, distributors, retailers, and buyers.
- Assist the QC team in addressing customer complaints related to product quality, including coordinating resolutions such as sending gift cards or merchandise when warranted.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in, marketing, events, social media or related field (experience in the craft beer, beverage, or hospitality industry is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and content creation. (Photo/Video creation + editing skills necessary)
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
- Passion for craft beer and the community surrounding it.
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (event setup required).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $21 - $27 per hour (rate based on experience).
